Powdered Beverages Fructofin® fructose can be used in powdered drinks to partially or totally replace sucrose. It enhances chocolate, coffee and fruit flavours and is therefore suitable for both hot and cold powdered beverages. As Fructofin® fructose is highly hygroscopic, the right moisture-proof packaging is required to maintain powder flowability throughout the intended shelf-life. Humidity levels in the factory may also need to be controlled.
